Debra prides herself on her lines of tableware, giftware, jewelry, and Judaica, that feature a mixture of innovative design and a fashion-forward use of color. Her newest line of work, featured on this site, explores the juxtaposition of precious and non-precious materials. The pieces are made of sterling silver and hand-carved acrylic, many with gem stones. Their distinctiveness arises not only from their aesthetic, but from the unusual way the materials are used: the acrylic is both focal and decorative, whereas the gems in their settings functionally hold the pieces together.
While many other craftspeople manufacture their pieces using industrial processes and computer aided design, Debra continues to make her work by hand. All of the designs she executes are original, with an emphasis on beauty, simplicity, and function.
